  related Skills and Abilities
   
  Interactive/Kinetic processes: Experience with various microcontrollers such as the BASIC Stamp, the Teleo, Arduino, and the Cricket. Have used and taken courses in C++ programming language, Max/MSP/Jitter, Processing, and the BASIC Stamp language. Also familiar with simple circuitry and the use of electrical devices such as motors for the creation of interactive or kinetic sculpture
   
  Video/Film Production & Editing: Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Maya 6, and Macromedia Flash. Experience as an on-set production assistant on feature-length films, and a television camera operator. Also familiar with Super-8mm film shooting, developing, and editing processes.
   
  Digital Photography & Production: Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe GoLive, Adobe Illustrator, Apple Final Cut Pro, Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Familiar with inkjet printing and laser printing. Also understand functions of a digital still camera and a digital video camera. Some experience with raw HTML.
   
  Sound Production: Understand basic sound processes, and have worked with ProTools, Deck, Peak, Audacity, SoundHack, Wiretap, and Ardour. Have experience with field recording as well as studio recording of sound and music, as well as taken courses in working with audio software and hardware.
   
  Sculptural Processes: Experience with plaster carving and mold making using casting plaster. Comfortable in a woodshop and familiar with many common woodworking tools, and some less-common including a CNC router. Some experience with lost wax bronze casting, MIG welding, metal fabrication, casting resin, concrete and armatures.
   
  Photography: Understanding of the working processes of traditional photography, from functions of a 35mm SLR camera to final printing of black and white film using a darkroom.
   
  Ceramic Production: Familiar with the working processes of wheel throwing, handbuilding (using slabs or coils), glaze application, and firing of electric, gas, and wood kilns.
   
  Drawing: Well developed skills in drawing and rendering of objects and figures, familiar with various drawing tools such as charcoal, graphite, conte crayon, oil pastels, and pen and ink.
   
  Painting: Familiar with various painting media, such as acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints. Also very familiar with building frames, stretching, and priming canvases.
